Big World Explorers started the way most good things do, on the trail. After years of leading hikes and backpacking trips around Los Angeles and beyond, we kept hearing the same thing: "I'd go if someone else planned it."

So we did. We turned a shared obsession into a company that runs small, guided adventures for people who want the wilderness without the spreadsheet. We plan the route, pull the permits, sort the food and the gear, and handle the parts that keep most people on the couch. You bring yourself and a sense of adventure.
